This is a figure which really needs to be seen to be appreciated.  She is a Flamenco dancer and she is stunning.  Every detail from her tassled shawl to the poppy flower and her hoop earrings is perfectly captured. Likewise, the Pierrot is super stylish and free from damage.

This pair came to me as a pair and I suspect they started out together as a pair.  They are Austrian or German and  of the quality you'd expect from these countries. They were the premier producers of bronze and spelter figures form such great names as Lorenzl, Bruno Zach, Preiss and Poertzel to name but a few.

I have seen both these attributed to Josef Lorenzl and like most of his spelter figures it is unsigned.  All I can say is that it is a great piece of Art Deco sculpture.
