Rarely do you see Art Deco figures directly related to a major Hollywood movie, but here she is in all her glory.  This figure depicts Kay Johnson as Madam Satan.  This film was a comedy musical driected by Cecil B. De Mille. 

I believe these figures were used as adverstising pieces for the movie and most likely stood in cinema foyers.  She is made from gilded plaster and is in remarkably good condition for a lady of her years!

She has a very dramatic effect and she is vell modelled.  Even without her movie connections, she is a stunning figure.
