Okay, forget about Calais being just somewhere you catch a ferry, it is a lovely place and I have waited years' to get this poster as the only two examples I had seen previously were badly creased and this is about as good an example you'll see of what is a very rare poster.

This poster dates to the early 1920s and is signed Lazlo but I have not found any more information on this artist - though he was clearly talented.

This poster captures all the landmarks of Calais from Rodin's Burghers of Calais sculpture to the hotel de ville. If you love Calais, you'll love this poster.

Condition: This example is in excellent condition with just storage wear.  There is a small tear approx 1.5cms to the bottom of the poster but this is on the white border only and does not encroach on the image itself.

Approximate size: 62 cms wide, 100 cms tall
