I have been searching for a long time now for this elusive Art Deco bronze by the master- Josef Lorenzl. She is by far the closest represenation of a bird dancer.  This dance proved a popular source of inspiration for sculptors of the period. She bears all the hallmarks of Lorenzl's best work: a lovely lythe body, superb detailing and a full Lorenzl signature in script to the bronze socle.

She is mounted on a lovely white onyx base and figures like this do not come around too often.  All in all a rare a special piece.
