This is the first example of this figure I have had in bronze. I have had the identical versionin spelter and I think I'm very fortunate to get the bronze and onyx original.

This is quite a rare Lorenzl figure and was his second version of the bat dancer or ' captured bird' a dance performed by Niddy Impekoven which inspired many Art Deco bronzes. 

This bronze is in excellent condition with a lovely brown patina and stands on a lovely jade onyx base.  She is signed 'Lorenl' which is yet another version of Josef Lorenzl's signature, others include: Rezl, renz, R. Lor, lor, to name but a few!
