As far as spelter figures go, this one is very hard to tell apart from a bronze. This lady is believed to be by Stefan Dakon, although I have had several versions of this figure in bronze which have carried a Lorenzl signature.

The closeness of Lorenzl and Dakon's work could be that the two worked closely together- Lorenzl is believed to have presuaded Goldscheider to use Dakon's designs. 

Whatver the case, this is the only perfect example of this figure I have seen.  So many have lost their fingers and the onyx and black marble base is often damaged.  It's a super piece and she looks like a film star of the day.

She is elegantly posed and a superb addition to any Art Deco collection.

Condition: Excellent- age related wear to the cold painted patina.
