Ferdinand Preiss Ivory and Onyx lady with drape

Ok, it's a cliche to say that the photos don't do it justice but this little lady just has to be seen to be believed. This dates to the early 1920s and was carved in Germany most probably by Preiss. It just 9cms tall she is unsigned- where could they have put in a signature?
These figures are rare and exquisite works of art, treasured then and now by the most discerning collectors. She measures just 9cms tall and is incredibly well detailed. She stands atop her original green Brazillian onyx base. Every detail is captured from her eyes to her flowing locks. It's no wonder these figures are amongst the most highly prized by collectors.
Pieces of this quality rarely come onto the market. Small is certainly very beautiful, more pictures available on request.
Size: Approx 9 cms tall
Condition excellent. A small crack to the base of the ivory by her feet- it could be repaired but it does not detract.
