Wow! This is Josef Lorenzl at his very best, a beautiful combination of great modelling and movement.  She is  a very rare figure which is often copied but no one can match the beauty of this original.  It is marked Lorenzl to the base and carries the made in Austria mark.

Her face is perhaps the best Lorenzl face I've seen and she is full of life.  She is mounted on a lovely green Brazillian onyx base and she is free from damage.  Her silvered patina has dulled to a lovely colour.  She is slightly larger than the scarf dancer figures and well proportioned.
