I normally buy French travel posters, but can you blame me for getting this beauty?  It has everything which is stylish about British rail travel, from the black background to the stunning text.

It dates to the late 1920s and has the added advantage of already being linen backed.  It is ready to frame and  would look stunning anywhere.  The black accent colour gives this picture a look way ahead of its time.

A near identical poster in slightly worse condition fetched nearly £500 at auction! Grab a piece of period wall art now! These don't come along often...
