Wow! This man is massive - 59 cms tall.  He is modelled as a miner and he must have done some serious mining to become as powerful as he looks.  He is German  and made from a patinated terracotta or architectural material like red clay.  He is powerful, dynamic and very rare to boot!

He is incredibly well modelled and the condition  is amazing, even the little hook that holds the lamp on his belt is intact.  He is signed indistinctly  THEIN.

Size: Approx 59 cms tall

Condition: Excellent- there is a firing fault to the base which appears to have been  filled at the factory and is hard to notice. It is hardly surprising as this is a very heavy and complex piece of sculpture.
