A really good piece of cameo glass which is pre-war circa 1930 and made in Germany.  Arsall were a very good cameo glass maker and this is a great example.  The glass is very thick and  the relief glass overlays are very well cut. This firm had a very short production period  of just 20 years from 1918 -1938.

It would make a stunning lamp with a suitable shade.  Cameo glass is very hard to find and these smaller makers like Arsall are proving better investments as the larger factories are now extensively copied.  This is signed in relief and has its original light fittings, it looks great on or off!

This was purhcased from Vienna's premier auction room and gallery and was fully authenticated.  It is a super piece at a super price.  A great way into collecting Art Deco cameo glass.
