This is an unusual piece and I'll probably never see another.  She appears to be a flapper dancer with her bobbed hairstyle and trim body.  But where there is a skirt, she opens up to reveal four coasters made from onyx and marble.  She is also mounted on a very neat Brazillian onyx base. 

She is signed ' Charles' and carries an impressed mark for Austria.  It has all the typical high quality details one would expect from a very fine Vienna casting.  Charles is a little known sculptor but I do believe he produced a wide range of high quality Art Deco male and female figures.
