I bought this vase from Austria's premier auction rooms and as soon as I saw it I was hooked.  The colour is like oil glistening on water, it really needs lots of light to bring  it to life.

It is a lovely shape and the vase has a wonderful textured finish.  Whilst it is unsigned, I think it's Loetz- it is such fine quality.  There are some engraved marked to the base, but they are very feint and I cannot read them. 

It is an old cliche to say that the photos do not do this piece justice, but they really don't!!!
