I have seen several versions of this figure, but none have been as good as this.  She is often seen balancing a ball, but close examination reaveals that she has never had anything attached to her, she almost looks like she is in deep concentration.

She is cold painted and mounted on an alabaster base.

Condition is excellent and she is a super figure.  I think she was made in Austria or even Germany circa 1928 and was probably modelled on the many cabaret acts of Berlin around this time.   She is a great value for money piece and superb piece of Art Deco sculpture.
