I love this figure and would have believed this to be a Josef Lorenzl piece had it not been signed Barner.  This is only the second piece I have had by this artist and there is little I can tell you other than he was Austrian working in Vienna at the same time as Lorenzl. His ladies are not quite as boyishly slim as Lorenzl but Lorenzl's influence is clear.

She stands on a Brazillian onyx base which is free from chips.

This is a lovely piece and it has a lot of drama and movement.  A very affordable and signed Vienna bronze.
