This shaker is something of an Art Deco icon.  It was designed by Keith Murray- who is better known for his designs for Wedgwood and Webb glass.  Yet this piece was made in several sizes - the smallest (this one) being the rarer.  I have seen this as a shaker before, but never with the pourer and the lovely stylised handle.

It is a piece of great Art Deco design by a leading name.  Mappin & Webb are synonomous with quality.

Condition: Excellent - even the small chain which attaches to the stopper is intact.
