I love these French wrought metal lamps, they seldom come with this detail though.  It is a proces called Fer Forge and the premier designer was Edgar Brandt whose work sells for thousands! 

Sadly this example is unsigned but the quality is quite special, much better than any others I have seen.  It also comes with a lovely blue tulip shade and would suit an Arts & Crafts or more European Art Deco styled interior.

Condition: Excellent- it retains its original wiring.
