I love this group and it is rare to find the smallest version of this group.  Know as Group Atlante, this croup was made by the Le Verrier foundry from their very high quality spelter known as 'art metal'.  this fine quality spelter is more like bronze and it is this combination of art metal and skilled modelling which makes these statues so desirable.

The statue was made in many sizes and even as single pieces.  It is rare to find the small figure in such great condition- she even retains her original bow!

I have had the patination profesionally restored in a very fitting antique gold, which looks stunning on the stone angular base which has the impressed signature- De Marco.
