Just post war, yet look and feel of the 1930's, these tourism posters are one of a pair from the newly formed East Germany - DDR in the late 40's.  Signed W. Parschau, I have done a little research but cannot find any other works by this talented artist.

They are screen printed on to the old style thin paper like posters from the 1920's.  They are slightly smaller than the normal travel posters, but this allows them to be framed and displayed side by side making them great to fill an empty wall space!

Size: 59cms wide, 82 cms tall

Condition: Good overall, some minor tears to the top and one side, which will hardly be noticeable when framed.  Still a rare and highly decorative travel poster.
