What a great combination; a beautiful Art Deco bronze dancing lady in futuristic costume and a French glass globe shade with acid etched decoration.
This lamp is just such high quality in every way, it looks amazing on or off.  Not only are you getting a very nice bronze, you have the added value of a quality light fitting.  The shade is signed "Deveaux" and features a very beautiful flower and leaf design, which has been acid etched and polished to give a variety of textures and a wonderful light when illuminated.  This technique was made popular by other French factories: Degue, Schneider, Le Verre Francais and Daum to name but a few.

Size: 46 cms tall, the figure alone measures 17 cms tall

Condition: Excellent condition, no damage to the alabaster base, new bulb holder and gallery.  The bronze figure has been professionally re-patinated to her original colours.  This is a seriously high quality lamp- even the alabaster base has small silvered feet.
