Stunning Art Deco Spelter Lamp - Molins- SOLD!

This is a really beautiful Art Deco lamp, which takes the form of a female holding aloft a wonderful grackle glass globe ( Which I assume to be the original).  She is beautifully detailed with stylised, wavy hair and very good facial features.  Sadly she is not signed, but I think she could be the work of Molins Balleste.  This version has also been recorded as a standing figure, lamp and as a decorative figure holding ivorene balls.  This rarer version combines decorative appeal as well as being a practical light.

She is made from polished spelter and she stands on a wonderful Portorro marble base, which has a wonderful natural striation.  This is rare and luxurious marble, which is very hard to find today.  She has been rewired to take a British plug ( thought with all vintage electrical items, it must be professionally tested prior to use.

This is a stunning piece of Art Deco lighting, which looks as good on as it does off.

Condition: excellent.
