I was fortunate enough to purchase this from Austria and the quality is excellent. This complete set is the ultimate Modernist desk set - I can just see it on a Le Corbusier desk!
This desk set design looks as modern today as it did when it was made over 80 years ago. This originates from Vienna c1920 and uses the same disc screws as the Vienna Art Deco bronzes like Lorenzl. The desk set comprises a main inkstand, candle holder, match holder, paperweight and blotter. these are all made form chrome/ silver plated brass and an early structural green glass with a green tint.
A very rare piece of exceptional quality.
Condition: Excellent - some very insignificant chips to two pieces hardly noticeable
