Art Deco Bronze Deer - Signed FAHRNER 1936
This beautiful study of a baby deer is one of the nicest examples I've seen. I believe the sculptor to be German and this is in excellent condition with almost no wear to the patination. It is signed to the bronze socle, and it stands upon a Portorro base (A sure sign of quality).
Condition: Excellent - there are two very small filled holes to the reverse of the marble base which might have been where a presentation plaque once was. This is hardly noticeable.
