A lovely pair of bookends or two standalone statues which bear a painted name for a company in Tunis.  The spelter ladies are unsigned but certainly by Limousin.

They have an original balck patina and they hold globes, perhaps this was a special order for the Tunis company?

They are not toally identical but may have been used as part of a shop window display or perhaps as desk ornaments
