Produced in 1986 By Midwinter this was the very first Clarice Cliff reproduction.  They were a case of offering the public what they didn't want and the project bombed leaving many unsold.  They were expensive and many of the public did not know about the designs of Clarice Cliff .

Fast forward 25 years and reproductions - of varying quality- abound.  But it's the Midwinter reproductions which are the ones to look out for!  This example is fully boxed with certificates and is in excellent condition.

It is a conical bowl in the Umbrellas and Rain patters and is hard to tell from the original.  These reproductions were a costly artistic exercise and they rarely appear on the market.
