A lovely bit of real machine age Art Deco design - this box comes from Japan C1930 and it looks like a cross between some of the best French Art Deco silver and Clarice Cliff!

The top of the box is enamelled with a geometric design.  I love these boxes and rarely see them- this being the first with any painted decoration.

Condition: Original with some wear to the plated and painted finish- it is 80 years' old!
