These figures are just supremely rare, this fully signed Roland Paris bronze and ivory study is just so beautiful.  his style is quite comical but expertly excecuted.  The cold painting and ivory carving brings this Art Deco statue to life.

his hands are carved in the pose of someone making a shadow puppet of a bird, it is so detailed.  A similar version to this appears in the Bryan Catley Art Deco & Other Figures book.

A great piece and if you are looking for something a little special, you have found it.
