I love this figure- a classic Josef Lorenzl bronze on a beautiful green onyx base.  Art Deco bronzes don't come any better then this.  He looks a little folorn but he is beautifully modelled and has lots of Art Deco presence.

Pierrot and Pierrete were a common subject matter in the Art Deco period.  This example shows the skill of Lorenzl- he is able to add a real sense of the costume yet retains all his hallmark attributes including a lovely stylised pose and wonderful detail.
