This pair of figure have so much drama, presence and would make a wonderful crowning addition to any Art Deco collection.  I believe these to be unsigned Chiparus figures based on the costumed dancers who featured in Diaghilev's Ballet Russes, which toured its modern dance accross Europe and America wowing audiences with its futuristic costumes and modern dance.

This pair are simply stunning, from their alabaster bases to their cold painted patina which resembles bronze.  These spelter beauties look many time more than they cost.
