I love this lamp, they make a good change from the more usual  globe shades.  This lady is rather coy and well modelled.

The light fitment sits in the middle and is covered by her lovely skirt which has a lovely irridescent finish.

This is French I think and, whilst it's unsigned, it has all the character of a Limousin piece. It does have an impressed mark which says: BREVETTE.

I think this version is a later casting of the original and is possible a 1970s or 80's version.  That said the last one I saw was well over £1000.  This is a great opportunity to get some unusual period style at a realistic price.
