This is certainly a statement piece.  It's the largest  piece  shagreen box - and certainly the finest quality- I've seen.  Normally shagreen is dyed a jade green, but this example have been dyed and cut into a perfect Art Deco design.

The overall feel of this box just oozes quality.  It has an ivory handle and the base has ivory trim.  All in all a lovely piece and that perfect present for an Art Deco lover.  This could look just as good as a jewellery box or smart desk accessory.
